Need to talk?
Life can be difficult and stressful...
We all have times when we feel down, anxious, confused and alone. Most of the time we manage our personal difficulties.
Sometimes we bottle things up, and pretend we are coping. At times we do not cope so well.
We all need support
Other people (family, friends, your GP) are not always able to offer the help we need. They may not always be available. Sometimes it might not feel right or safe to take our problems to them. However, there is help available.
How can counselling help?
Counselling or talking therapy is now recognised as an effective form of treatment for depression and anxiety. Sometimes talking to an independent person might be useful. Counselling can help when we need extra support
As a qualified counsellor working in Carmarthen I am able to offer you a chance to talk in confidence. I am an Accredited Member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and previously worked for 25 years as a Registered General Nurse.
